Job summary

Envisioneering, Inc. seeks a Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Specialist to support the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and its Science and Technology portfolio.

The role requires DoD TS clearance and deep expertise in PNT technologies, navigation science, and program-level engineering. You will develop technology roadmaps, prepare papers and briefings for senior audiences, and coordinate with ONR contractors to advance S&T initiatives addressing C5ISRT needs.

Qualifications

• PhD in mathematics, engineering, physics or related sciences with 15+ years of relevant work experience, or MS with 20+ years, or BS with 25+ years.
• Experience developing PNT technologies including inertial navigation, precision time sources, GPS, RF/non-RF positioning, atomic clocks, quantum devices, interferometry, and related nex gen navigation.
• Experience coordinating S&T development efforts with program schedules, technology assessments, and transitioning programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist ONR Program Officers in developing technology programs and roadmaps to close capability gaps.
• Monitor and evaluate S&T efforts funded across academia, labs, and industry.
• Develop papers and presentations for diverse audiences describing the S&T portfolio and projects.
• Present briefings in support of ONR Program Officers as needed.
• Work with ONR contractors to develop Statements of Work and requirements for S&T contracts.
• Staff documents and briefings to gain program support and signatures.
