Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior PMO and Finance Controls Consultant to support a remote, primarily work-from-home engagement with occasional travel to Charlotte. The role focuses on standing up a back-office finance function, ensuring public company readiness, regulatory reporting, SOX controls, and process design.

Expect engagement coordination from GT Philadelphia with a target start of 9/1. The team will work remotely, with travel as needed, and the position offers a competitive W2 hourly

Qualifications

• Senior-level PMO leadership experience with finance controls and reporting.
• Proven background in public company readiness and SOX implementations.
• Experience building regulatory reporting capabilities and governance structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a PMO workstream overseeing program execution for public company readiness.
• Design and implement SOX controls across key finance processes.
• Establish regulatory reporting capabilities and governance.
• Develop scalable month-end close, consolidation, and reporting processes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
• Prepare documentation, testing evidence, and readiness materials.
• Support change management, training, and knowledge transfer.
