Job summary

Fortitude Reinsurance Company Ltd. (Fortitude Re) in Nashville is seeking a Senior Associate, Project Manager to support the delivery and governance of strategic initiatives.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule and budgets, and contribute to PMO process excellence to ensure execution quality. The role requires 5+ years of project management experience, knowledge of Wrike/Jira/MS Project, and exposure to Agile environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience; working knowledge of project management methodologies and governance practices.
• Experience with project management software (Wrike, Jira, MS Project, etc.).
• Exposure to Agile or scaled Agile environments; certification (CAPM, CSM, or SAFe) preferred or in progress. PMP Certification encouraged.
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Experience in insurance, finance, or consulting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination & Delivery: Manage or co-manage projects from initiation through closure, maintaining accountability for scope, schedule, and budget.
• Governance & Process Excellence: Apply PMO standards, templates, and methodologies across assigned work; maintain project data and dashboards for portfolio reporting.
• Transformation & Change Enablement: Support change management activities to promote adoption of new processes, systems, or tools; identify improvements to workflows and communication practices.
• Stakeholder Support & Communication: Prepare concise project updates for leadership; build trusted relationships across teams; demonstrate initiative in a fast-moving environment.
