Sr Associate, Senior Business Analyst & Special Projects

This role at Fortitude Re involves identifying critical issues in service delivery, formulating analytical approaches, and applying analytics to build projects for improvement. The position requires strong program/project management skills, analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. The role is based in Nashville, TN on a hybrid basis.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with the business to solve problems through data and metrics.
• Lead cross-functional problem-solving activities and build presentations to simplify complex data.
• Manage projects from ideation through implementation.
• Communicate findings and provide feedback to various stakeholders.
• Identify key data, acquire relevant data, and build data-driven stories to support decision-making.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance internal controls and customer experience.
• Develop ad hoc reports in collaboration with the business.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement.
• Lead and manage the Roadmap Definition and Execution for the Reporting Center of Excellence within TPA Governance.
• Drive exceptional execution and identify improvements.

What You Will Have:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Life Insurance operations and compliance experience.
• Proficiency in MS Project and/or other project planning tools.
• Familiarity with SDLC and IT systems development lifecycle.
• Expertise in Excel, PowerBI, Cognos, and other reporting tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
• Solution-oriented mindset and knowledge of AI tools.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and self-direction.
