Job summary

Piper Companies seeks a Senior Project Analyst (PMO Governance) to join our enterprise team in Salisbury, NC. This hybrid role requires onsite presence 3 days per week and focuses on governance, business analysis, and process improvement across technology initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of experience in project management, PMO, business analysis, or related roles.
Experience supporting project governance, PMO operations, or portfolio management functions.
Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and SDLC principles.
Experience creating project charters, requirements documentation, process maps, and status reporting artifacts.
Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban methodologies.

Responsibilities

Support PMO governance processes, standards, and best practices across technology and business initiatives.
Develop and maintain project documentation including project charters, status reports, RAID logs, requirements documentation, and process workflows.
Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
Facilitate project intake, governance reviews, and project lifecycle activities.
Perform process mapping, workflow analysis, and gap assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
Track project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and key performance indicators.
Support executive and leadership reporting through dashboards, presentations, and project status updates.
Collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
Assist with testing coordination, requirements validation, and solution reviews.
Advocate for established project management methodologies, governance standards, and organizational ways of working.
Support initiatives utilizing Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban delivery frameworks.
