Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company is seeking a Senior Major Projects Analyst to support the PMO for multi‑billion‑dollar nuclear initiatives such as Extended Power Uprates. You will provide PMO governance, project controls, and analytical support, translating complex data into actionable insights for leadership.

You will collaborate with site teams, EPC partners, and OEMs to strengthen execution, contribute to PMO maturity, and drive standards, tools, and training across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Construction Management, Project Management, or related technical field.
• 5-9 years of experience supporting projects, project controls, or construction management. Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
• Experience with project scheduling (Primavera P6) and data visualization tools (Power BI).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support the PMO to include Extended Power Uprate projects and other projects from design through implementation, ensuring goals are achieved.
• Develop and maintain governance, gated decision processes, escalation protocols, and project controls across sites; prepare dashboards and metrics for leadership.
• Assist in developing baselines for scope, schedule, and budget; track performance and escalate variances.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and prepare routine status reports and performance metrics.
• Contribute to PMO maturity by developing templates, tools, and processes based on data and lessons learned.
