Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations seeks a Senior Major Projects Analyst to support PMO governance and controls for multi-billion‑dollar nuclear initiatives, aligning safety, cost, schedule, and quality. You will translate complex technical and financial data into actionable leadership insights across sites, EPCs, and OEMs.

You will lead development of PMO maturity, templates, tools, and processes, and support audits and enterprise standards, with travel as required to support project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Construction Management, Project Management, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-9 years of experience supporting projects, project controls, or construction management.
• PMP preferred.
• Experience with project scheduling (Primavera P6), project management software and data visualization tools (Power BI).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Exposure to structured or regulated environments (energy, utilities, industrial).
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of formal presentations to management.

Responsibilities

• Support the PMO for Extended Power Uprate and other projects from design through implementation, ensuring safety, budget, schedule, risk, and quality requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and audit standardized PMO governance, gated decision processes, escalation protocols, and project controls.
• Develop and prepare documentation, reporting, dashboards and metrics for leadership.
