Job summary

Murata seeks a Senior Mixed-Signal PMIC Validation Engineer to advance pre-silicon analog and post-silicon validation for power management ICs. You will develop verification plans, build testbenches, and model behavior to enable efficient simulation and robust hardware.

You will collaborate across analog, digital, software, firmware, and hardware teams, analyzing data from bench measurements to guide design decisions. Hybrid work from Waltham, MA is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in analog mixed-signal verification and post-silicon validation.
• Strong understanding of power electronics and feedback-control fundamentals.
• Experience with circuit simulation, mixed-signal testbenches, and verification methodologies.
• Proficiency with Verilog, SystemVerilog, Verilog-AMS, Verilog-A or similar modeling.
• Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and meters.
• Ability to work across pre-silicon and post-silicon teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop pre-silicon verification and post-silicon validation plans for mixed-signal PMICs.
• Create and maintain analog mixed-signal testbenches for verification at block-, subsystem-, and top-level.
• Develop and use behavioral models to support efficient mixed-signal simulation.
• Assist in silicon bring-up, functional validation, and electrical characterization.
• Automate simulations, lab measurements, regression testing, and data analysis using Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW.
• Correlate simulation results with bench measurements and production test data.
• Investigate design, silicon, board, firmware and measurement issues via root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with analog, digital, verification, firmware, systems, applications, test, quality, and product engineering teams.
• Contribute to reusable verification environments and product readiness reviews.
