Job summary

BetterHelp is seeking an experienced PMHNP to lead our Psychiatry Practice Management team. You will guide clinical quality, provider operations, and regulatory compliance at scale, leveraging technology to expand access to care.

You will mentor team members, partner with Legal, Compliance, Credentialing, and Product, and help shape telepsychiatry strategies while maintaining safety and high-quality outcomes for members.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
• Strong understanding of psychiatric prescribing practices, risk assessment, documentation standards, and clinical quality management.
• Experience investigating or resolving complex clinical, quality, compliance, or provider performance concerns.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-informed decisions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with clinical, operational, legal, product, and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits of provider activity and documentation as needed.
• Lead psychiatric quality assurance initiatives and support investigations.
• Provide actionable, constructive feedback to psychiatric providers.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Credentialing, and Patient Safety teams.
• Stay current on telehealth, prescribing, and psychiatric practice regulations.
• Develop strong relationships with providers to improve engagement and platform success.
• Identify trends and recommend operational improvements.
