Job summary

Northwest Human Services (NWHS) is seeking an experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to serve as Psychiatric Services Medical Director. This role combines clinical practice with leadership to guide quality, consistency, and direction across our psychiatric services within the integrated health system.

The Medical Director maintains an active practice while mentoring providers, collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer and care teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• PMHNP board certification and active license requirements are met.
• Experience directing psychiatric services and teams.
• Strong collaboration with medical leadership and care teams.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active psychiatric practice while providing clinical direction and mentorship.
• Lead quality, safety, and compliance within psychiatric services.
• Collaborate with leadership to integrate psychiatric and primary care.
• Develop treatment protocols, standards, and provider education.
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing staff.
