Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA, seeks an Associate Director, PM for the Trusted AI & Autonomy portfolio. You will lead AI/ML program development for DoD customers, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive technology maturation with strategic roadmaps and external collaborations.

The role requires a strong PM background, DoD program experience, and the ability to secure a U.S. security clearance. Onsite work in Cedar Rapids, IA, with travel.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years of experience or an Advanced Degree with 10+ years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.
• Demonstrated project/program management experience.
• Experience with EVMS program management, R&O management, and RLPM.

Responsibilities

• Define IRAD portfolio maturing AI/ML capabilities with transition paths.
• Lead pursuit, order, capture for AI/autonomy opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders for an integrated, spiral development roadmap.
• Guide development of AI/ML models to outperform baselines using advanced techniques.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to integrate learning-enabled components.
• Support scalable ML operations and digital engineering processes.
