Job summary

BizTek People is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager for Transmission and Distribution projects in Reno, NV. You will coordinate the development and execution of large, multi-discipline project plans, ensuring safety, scope, cost, schedule, and risk are managed to meet objectives.

The role requires a senior-level PM with experience in utility design and management of complex projects. The team spans planning, engineering, construction, controls, environmental and regulatory functions,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
7+ years of related utility design/experience.
2+ years of project management experience.
Experience with Large Generator Interconnections is a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the development of project plans, including scope, cost estimates, schedule and cash flow.
Monitor safety, scope, cost, schedule, cash flow, quality and risk; measure and communicate performance to customers and stakeholders.
Coordinate acquisition of human resources, equipment, permits, land and land rights.
Manage changes to the project plan and ensure objectives are achieved.
Coordinate development of the project team across multiple disciplines; support capital investment planning and project close-out.
