Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Search & Recommendations Quality in Seattle. You will own quality metrics, partner with ML Science, ML Engineering, and Search Engineering to define offline and online measures, and influence roadmap decisions across brands.

This role focuses on ranking and recommendation quality, running metric reviews, leading benchmarking, and coordinating experiments to improve traveler experiences across Expedia brands.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience or 6+ years with a Master’s degree
• Experience owning product metrics, experimentation, or evaluation frameworks for ranking/recommendations
• Strong technical depth and experience partnering with ML teams on model evaluation and tradeoffs
• Demonstrated ability to design product experiments and translate findings into a roadmap

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for search and recommendations quality
• Partner with ML Science/ML Engineering to define offline and online metrics
• Define and scale evaluation systems for search relevance across surfaces
• Lead benchmarking against key marketplace players and translate findings into investments
• Coordinate experiments and win-loss analyses to optimize quality across brands
• Coach PMs and stakeholders on relevance measurement best practices
