Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a senior product leader to own quality measurement for search and recommendations across our travel brands. You will work with ML Science, ML Engineering, and Search Engineering to turn relevance questions into a defensible roadmap and measurable outcomes.

You will define metrics, run experiments, and lead cross-functional initiatives across the Search & Recs organization, influencing senior stakeholders and delivering impact across brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, quantitative, or related field, or equivalent practical experience; 8+ years of product management experience (6+ years with a Master's degree).
• Experience owning product metrics, experimentation, or evaluation frameworks for ranking, recommendations, personalization, or search systems.
• Strong technical depth and experience partnering with ML teams on model evaluation and tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Own product vision and roadmap for search and recommendations quality measurement across brands.
• Define and evaluate ranking and recommendation model quality with offline and online metrics.
• Scale evaluation systems for search relevance and extend to recommendations including cross-sell and rebooking.
• Define product metrics and run regular reviews tied to measurable outcomes.
• Lead benchmarking against key players and translate findings into investments.
• Coordinate experimentation and win-loss analysis for ranking and relevance changes.
