Job summary

Faire is a technology wholesale platform transforming how independent retailers discover brands and products. As a Search PM with ranking expertise, you will own the strategy and roadmap for our largest discovery surface, collaborating with data scientists and engineers to ship measurable improvements.

You will balance near-term wins with longer-term investments, define metrics, and partner with ML Platform and Discovery teams to drive impact for retailers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of product management experience, including direct ownership of search or ranking systems, ideally at a marketplace or e‑commerce company.
• Strong prioritization instincts — identify highest-impact opportunities and sequence them.
• Technical fluency — comfortable engaging with technical white papers and discussing with engineering and DS counterparts.
• Execution rigor across complex, multi‑dependency work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategy that elevates search experience via ranking iterations.
• Own a product roadmap for Search Ranking with clear prioritization and business alignment.
• Direct the pod's analytical work with a strategy & analytics partner to identify opportunities and translate findings.
• Determine sequencing of opportunities between foundational work and near-term order volume delivery.
• Define and refine metrics to measure Search Ranking performance and retailer experience.
• Build trusted partnerships across ML Platform, Discovery Infrastructure, and adjacent Search teams.
• Represent the team's strategy and progress to leadership.
