Job summary

Field AI is seeking a Product Manager for Security & Urban Operations (Perception & Intelligence) in Irvine, CA. You will own real-time perception at the edge, the reporting UI, and the full customer journey for security accounts, collaborating with field deployment teams.

You will run discovery with customers and engineers, define a crisp roadmap, and lead technical discussions to deliver encoded requirements and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven product management experience shipping SaaS or software end to end.
• Security or urban-operations industry experience with buyers in security or facilities.
• Strong discovery skills to turn field reality into a prioritized problem list.
• Track record of defining and committing to scope and guiding technical discussions with engineers.
• Excellent communication to shape a GTM narrative and enable sales.
• Bonus: robotics, autonomy, computer vision, or hardware experience.
• Familiarity with computer vision, edge inference, or real-time detection and alerting systems.

Responsibilities

• Own customer problem through discovery with customers, field teams, and deployment engineers.
• Define, sequence, and commit roadmap with clear acceptance criteria.
• Lead technical discussions with engineering to turn a customer problem into the best solution.
• Rank needs by priority using evidence from feedback, field and deployment data.
• Shape the vertical GTM, build sales enablement materials, and partner with sales as the product voice.
• Collaborate with the platform team to ensure scalable, generalizable solutions.
• Calibrate with usage data and field feedback; retire what isn’t landing.
