Job summary

Procon is a top-ranked construction management and technology consulting firm seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in Orlando to lead large public-sector projects from planning through closeout. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience managing projects valued at $20M+ and a background with government facilities or similar complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, CE, Arch or related field.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible construction project management experience.
• Experience managing projects over $20M.
• Experience with convention centers, municipal/state facilities, or similar.
• Knowledge of public-sector procurement, contracts, and reporting.
• Knowledge of CM-at-Risk, Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build.
• Understanding of codes, standards, and regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication, stakeholder management.
• Ability to coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout phases of major construction projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, cost, quality, and performance to meet objectives.
• Coordinate and oversee architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and other team members.
• Develop, review, and monitor budgets, cost estimates, forecasts, schedules, and cash flow.
• Monitor progress and provide status reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals for constructability and compliance.
• Ensure activities comply with codes, standards, and regulations.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Administer contracts and resolve change orders and claims.
• Facilitate coordination among teams and agencies to keep progress.
• Support QA/QC efforts and oversee closeout activities.
