Job summary

Procon is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to support the successful delivery of large, complex public-sector construction projects. This role provides comprehensive project management oversight from planning and design through procurement, construction, and closeout.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing projects valued at $20 million or more, including convention centers, municipal or state facilities, and government buildings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive construction project management experience.
• Experience managing projects valued over $20 million.
• Knowledge of public-sector procurement processes and reporting requirements.
• Familiar with CM-at-Risk, Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout phases of major projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, cost, quality, and performance objectives.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and government stakeholders.
• Develop and monitor budgets, estimates, forecasts, schedules, and cash flow.
• Provide status reports to clients and key stakeholders on progress.
• Review drawings, specs, and submittals for constructability and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and contract requirements.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Administer contracts and assist with change orders and claims.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration to maintain project progress.
• Support QA/QC and oversee closeout activities and turnover.
