Job summary

Clearwater Analytics seeks a Senior Product Manager to build front-office and research capabilities for the Private Funds domain. You’ll sit with engineering, own the backlog, and translate domain knowledge into shippable features.

You will groom the backlog daily, lead domain enablement for the team, verify delivered work, and help clients adopt new Fund Research and Fund Analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a Product Owner/Business Analyst or delivery-focused role within financial technology, ideally private funds or alt investments.
• Strong grounding in private funds domain—GP/LP dynamics, fund hierarchies, NAV, and related mechanics.
• Front-office familiarity, performance measurement, cash-flow analysis, portfolio monitoring, or fund research/due diligence.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery—backlog grooming, writing user stories/acceptance criteria, and Agile ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the development backlog in Aha!/JIRA for Fund Research and Fund Analytics capabilities.
• Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow requirements for developers to build against.
• Groom the backlog with engineering and participate in sprint ceremonies.
• Act as the private funds domain SME for the team and translate domain nuance into concrete specs.
• Test features against acceptance criteria using fund scenarios and support UAT with stakeholders.
• Assist client onboarding and adoption of Fund Research and Fund Analytics functionality.
• Collaborate with Sales to provide product walkthroughs and address questions from prospects.
