Job summary

NetApp is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for ONTAP systems platforms, the backbone of our Enterprise Storage portfolio.

You will drive multi‑generation platform roadmaps, NPI programs, and lifecycle discipline in collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and field teams. Translate customer needs into requirements and competitive positioning for go‑to‑market success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management or technical product planning experience in enterprise infrastructure, storage, or related hardware/software domains.
• Strong understanding of enterprise storage systems and architectures, including NAS and SAN protocols.
• Proven experience leading complex NPI programs through the full lifecycle: concept → requirements → development → GA → sustaining.
• Experience driving cross‑functional execution with Engineering, Operations, supply chain, finance, and go‑to‑market teams.
• Strong communication and executive presence, with the ability to represent complex platform tradeoffs clearly to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and refine ONTAP systems platform strategy and roadmaps.
• Lead concurrent NPI programs across platforms and components with cross‑functional teams.
• Define clear product requirements for planning, Engineering, and Operations, aligned to schedules and commitments.
• Own product lifecycle discipline across the portfolio, including EOA/EOL and sustaining strategies.
• Partner with Product Marketing for platform messaging, packaging, and field enablement.
• Monitor adoption, deployment, and quoting friction; drive corrective actions with Engineering and Operations.
