Job summary

Lumicity is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple commercial construction projects in California from preconstruction through closeout. The role requires strong leadership and proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in retail and restaurant sectors, ground-up and site/civil work, and proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and Procore. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience.
• 5+ years as a Commercial Construction Project Manager.
• Retail and restaurant experience preferred.
• Experience with ground-up, tenant-improvement, and site/civil construction.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Procore experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, procurement, and project financials.
• Perform estimating, takeoffs, and value engineering.
• Manage subcontracts, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Coordinate with clients, design teams, field personnel, subcontractors, and inspectors.
• Monitor safety, quality, schedule, and overall project performance.
• Prepare project reports and resolve issues before they affect delivery.
