Job summary

McShane Construction Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple multi-family projects from planning through completion. You will oversee project controls, cost management, scheduling, and risk mitigation while mentoring project staff and coordinating with clients, architects, and engineers.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/CE/Architecture or related field.
• Strong project controls mindset and knowledge of construction methods.
• Proficient in CM software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans including schedules, budgets, and risk management.
• Lead project team to execute plans and ensure milestone adherence.
• Implement project controls to track performance and address issues.
• Review owner contracts and subcontracts; manage buyout and risk plans.
• Ensure subcontractor insurance compliance and PCI/PCI changes management.
• Forecast project costs and produce accurate financial reports.
• Prepare owner billings and approve subcontractor/vendor billings.
• Oversee contract administration and risk management with legal teams.
• Lead safety program, site safety plans, and site audits.
