Job summary

PayPal in San Jose is seeking a Lead Product Manager to own the foundation model pillar—an ML infrastructure layer powering risk decisions across fraud, credit, and compliance. You will define training/retraining strategies for transformer-based models that process transaction and behavioral data, and manage the outputs to downstream consumers.

You will collaborate with engineering, data science, and risk strategy to drive faster deployments and reduce time-to-market for new threat responses,

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Uses data to build insights on product or platform requirements consistent with the shared vision for the product.
• Gathers insights from the customer experience and customer needs to input to product requirements
• Analyzes research, market analysis and usability studies to support data-driven decision making
• Monitors product profitability measures, including budget.
• Lead sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives to drive execution.
• Partners with content developers, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers to identify new opportunities.
