Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd. seeks a Senior Project Manager for a US-based Life Sciences expansion project in New York. The role covers design through construction, with responsibility for schedule, budget, and permitting, on an initial 3-month contract.

You will join a dynamic team reporting to an Associate Director or higher and drive milestones to completion. Ideal candidates will bring Green Field design and construction experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to resolve issues

Qualifications

• Major research project and green field design/construction experience preferred.
• Experience with project management techniques, concepts, principles, and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to interact with all levels.
• Thorough understanding of construction techniques.
• Ability to creatively resolve issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Take custody of the project mid-stream and become productive within two weeks.
• Drive design milestones to completion and hand the project back in a fully documented state at the end of the term.
• Manage the project schedule and budget, and oversee the permitting process.
• Provide senior level leadership in planning, budgeting, and management of major capital projects from conceptualization through close out.
