Job summary

Cohere is seeking a senior product leader to own Inference as a Service end-to-end. The role defines the product, pricing, regional strategy and the platform around the endpoint, including console, dashboards, and model catalog.

You will collaborate across engineering, finance, legal and GTM to align budgets, drive revenue, and ensure data residency and compliance while delivering a scalable, trusted inference service for mid-market and enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management for B2B infrastructure or platform products.
• Experience owning a P&L, setting pricing, and managing margins.
• Background at neoclouds (e.g., Together AI, Baseten) or hyperscalers with inference capacity pricing.
• Proven ability to treat infrastructure as a product and differentiate features for customers.
• Entrepreneurial experience taking a new product to market with a solid commercial motion.
• Experience with multi-tenant or dedicated infra deployments across full lifecycle.
• Strong analytical approach: define success metrics, instrument data, use insights for decisions.
• Ability to gain alignment across engineering, infrastructure, finance, legal and GTM without formal authority.
• Experience owning a model serving or inference platform is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L for Inference as a Service: revenue, pricing, and margin.
• Own the inference platform: console, dashboards, usage, spend, API keys, access control and attestation.
• Own the model inventory: catalog provisioning, provenance, pricing, and retirement decisions.
• Set the roadmap and investment across serving efficiency, self-serve surface and regional capacity.
• Build the commercial GTM motion: self-serve for mid-market, sales-led for enterprise, partnerships for capacity monetisation.
• Engage with customers to understand integration friction and unmet needs; monitor competitor pricing and launches.
• Define key business metrics and lead efforts to improve them.
• Collaborate with engineering, research, legal, finance, and GTM to ship the platform and resolve licensing, pricing, capacity decisions.
• Present recommendations and trade-offs to the executive team.
