Job summary

Uber is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Grocery Fulfillment Optimization to own the systems and decision logic that determine last-mile fulfillment under real-world conditions. You will work with Marketplace and Data Science to design matching, batching, and recovery that balance reliability, cost, earner experience, and store readiness at scale.

This senior IC role requires end-to-end ownership, influence across teams, and a proactive approach to optimization that strengthens customer

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience delivering durable products with clear ownership.
• Strong technical and operational fluency across distributed systems and real-world operations.
• Experience building algorithmic or ML-adjacent products with Data Science.
• Hands-on data fluency with SQL, dashboards, instrumentation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and customer obsession.
• Driver mindset with bias toward action.
• Sound judgment under ambiguity.
• Influence without authority to align multiple teams.
• High standards and a constant desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Own the decision logic behind grocery fulfillment: matching, batching, planning, recovery, and completion.
• Partner with Marketplace and Data Science to define reliable, cost-efficient logic with clear tradeoffs.
• Design resilient fulfillment systems with backup paths and recovery to reduce cancellations.
• Translate operational complexity into product and modeling requirements.
• Shift fulfillment from reactive to proactive by anticipating risk and adapting before customers notice.
• Set direction for modeling and experimentation across partner teams.
