Job summary

BioMarin is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Global External Manufacturing, to lead end-to-end project delivery across GEO site portfolio and the external manufacturing network in a highly regulated biopharma environment.

Based in Novato, CA with a hybrid work model (2 days onsite), you will translate complex technical inputs into credible plans, maintain integrated schedules, govern scope, cost, and schedule, and partner with CMOs to ensure timely, data-driven decisions for product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science, Business, or Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management or business process improvement within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects through full lifecycle from intake and approval through execution, handover, and benefits realization.
• Establish and maintain project charters, RAID logs, decision logs, and governance artifacts for audit-ready oversight.
• Independently build, maintain, and optimize integrated project schedules with milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Integrate CMO activities into end-to-end project schedules and manage external dependencies.
• Prepare and present decision-focused project reviews for governance forums.
