Job summary
Ascend Analytics is seeking a Power Resources Manager (PowerSIMM) in Boulder, CO, offering hybrid or remote work. You will own the APP product vision, drive platform growth, and coordinate with engineering, analysts, and client teams to deliver defensible procurement outcomes.
You will partner with business development, shape commercial strategies for SaaS subscriptions, manage PowerSIMM analysts, and ensure rigorous, scalable solutions across grid reliability and energy markets.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in power procurement, power markets, or energy analytics.
- Direct experience with utility or corporate power procurement processes, including RFP/RFO design and contract execution.
- Strong knowledge of power market economics and valuation methodologies.
- Experience owning or leading a SaaS product roadmap and coordinating with engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the growth of APP by supporting the business development with utilities and corporate energy buyers.
- Serve as SME for APP in client discussions, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Own the APP product roadmap and translate needs into development plans.
- Coordinate with software engineering to define requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Lead procurement project delivery and manage PowerSIMM analysts.
