Job summary

World Wide Technology is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead DoD/Navy focused initiatives within our Government Services team in a fast-paced, highly secure environment. You will plan, execute, and monitor complex IT projects, coordinating cross-functional teams across locations, and ensuring milestones meet Navy and DoD requirements.

The role requires a SECRET clearance, PMP, DoD 8570 IAT II, and a Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of IT project management experience.

Qualifications

• SECRET security clearance with DoD/DON experience.
• IAT II and PMP certifications required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant IT project management experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools.
• Experience applying PM methodologies to IT projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability.
• Collaboration across departments to identify requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, measure, monitor, and report on project activities.
• Adhere to PM best practices and drive improvements.
• Ensure project deliverables and documentation are produced on time.
• Plan new projects, schedules, and allocate team resources.
• Maintain schedules and identify risks to milestones.
• Analyze project metrics for reporting and future projects.
• Provide weekly status updates and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Lead cross-team resource deconfliction and risk mitigation.
• Facilitate status reviews and create project status pages.
