Job summary

Batson-Cook is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a major data center project in Boyce, Louisiana. The role emphasizes overseeing change management, cost control, and pre-construction activities while coordinating schedules and staffing across teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience, with willingness to travel as required to manage the project's needs and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University.
• 8+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Willing to travel if required.

Responsibilities

• Drive and implement Change Management Process (e.g. Log, Review, Notifications, Document Management, Issue Subcontractor Changes, Status Tracking).
• Manage Cost Control (e.g. Monthly Project Management Reports, Project Cash Flow, Budget, Owner/Subcontractor Pay Application).
• Provide input and supervise all pre-construction services such as purchase orders, subcontract, schedules, job cost set-up and project pre-planning.
• Assist in the Project Estimating/Pre-Construction Process (e.g. Scope Review, Bid Day participation, Generate schematic/design development budgets).
• Monitor and update project schedule routinely; track critical path and address delays; notify stakeholders.
• Review project proposal to determine time frame, procedures, staffing requirements, resources.
• Supervise and/or manage employees, subcontractor, and/or suppliers; provide direction and feedback.
• Must be willing to travel if required.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, employees; maintain relationships to resolve needs.
