Job summary

NewsBreak is seeking a Product Manager to own the core NewsBreak app experience, including the For You feed and local vertical integration. You will define goals, build PRDs, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver improvements that positively affect retention and user satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 5-8 years in consumer products, a track record of shipping measurable features, and the ability to run analyses and experiments that justify decisions.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in consumer product with a solid shipping record.
• You can quote post-launch numbers and explain gaps vs forecast.
• Experience with feed or recommendation on large-DAU product is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Feature definition, PRDs, and cross-team delivery for the NewsBreak app.
• Own the For You feed experience and determine how local verticals enter the main feed.
• Rebuild quality triage by ranking issues by predicted churn impact.
• Translate direction into scalable product plans, with validated delivery.
• Manage one existing PM and mentor others as needed.
