Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Consumer Shopping to lead cross-functional efforts from ideation to launch, shaping products used by millions of shoppers. You will connect engineering, design, and marketing to deliver compelling experiences.

You will own outcomes, translate ambiguity into actionable goals, and influence stakeholders across Mountain View and New York, leveraging AI-enabled features for next-gen commerce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
• 2 years of experience working with consumer facing products.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Establish high-velocity sprint cycles to continuously eliminate product losses and achieve goals.
• Map out fluid, multimodal research journeys across AI Overviews (AIO) and AI Mode (AIM), establishing standardized components to ensure a unified, cohesive consumer experience.
• Build robust loss taxonomy understanding and lead deep-dive query analysis to design high-impact experiments, using data-led evidence as the primary tool to move goal metrics.
• Validate the market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, business generation).
• Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation to global launch, authoring shared plans with Search teams to and build consensus.
