Job summary

Kleinfelder, a Forbes' Top Employer for Engineers in North America, is seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong Construction Materials Engineering and Testing experience to join our Southern California team. You will lead service delivery, manage budgets, and supervise inspectors on a mix of commercial, industrial, government, energy, and institutional projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in materials testing, special inspection or related construction engineering services.
• 10+ years of project management with direct client interaction.
• Ability to lead complex projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Combine technical delivery with business development to expand local footprints.
• Provide professional service rooted in quality, risk management, and safety.
• Lead technical leadership in construction materials testing and inspection.
• Mentor inspectors and technicians to elevate team performance.
• Manage project delivery from kickoff to closeout across various project types.
• Communicate with clients, staff, and leadership to ensure profitable delivery.
• Prepare cost estimates, takeoffs, and technical proposals.
• Lead pursuit teams and Statements of Qualifications.
• Oversee project and service delivery teams.
• Maintain and grow the client base.
• Coordinate work to meet budgets and schedules.
