Job summary

Kleinfelder’s Construction Services team in Southern California is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with expertise in Construction Materials Engineering and Testing to join our office.

You will lead project delivery from kickoff to closeout across commercial, industrial, government, energy and institutional projects, provide technical leadership to inspectors and technicians, mentor staff, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain a strong, proactive client base.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in materials testing, special inspection, construction management, or related services.
• 10+ years of project management experience with direct client interaction and multi-project leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from kickoff to closeout across diverse sectors.
• Provide technical leadership in construction materials testing and inspections.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and grow business opportunities.
• Prepare cost estimates, takeoffs and technical proposals.
• Mentor inspectors and technicians and guide project teams.
• Ensure budgets, schedules and quality standards are met.
