Job summary

Metcalf Builders Inc in Reno, Nevada, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, reporting to the VP of Operations. The role requires advanced oversight, coordination across project teams, and mentoring of PMs, APMs, and coordinators.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and cost controls, identify schedule conflicts, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while representing the company with clients

Qualifications

7+ years total construction experience.
5+ years as a Project Manager leading projects independently.
Experience with large, complex, high-risk commercial projects.
Proven ability to lead multiple teams and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

Lead all phases of large, complex commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Establish budgets, forecasts, schedules, and cost controls within safety and quality targets.
Coordinate between Owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Prepare project reports, presentations, and updates for Owners and leadership.
Oversee procurement, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and invoicing.
Mentor Project Managers, Assistant PMs, and Coordinators.
