Job summary

Effectual is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery across multi-faceted cloud migration and technology consulting engagements. You will own project outcomes, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and collaborate with Account Executives, Solution Architects, and senior PS leadership to deliver high-quality results.

You will thrive in complex programs, mentor junior PMs, and drive governance and reporting.

Qualifications

Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
7+ years as a Project Manager or similar role within a professional services or technology consulting organization
Experience delivering complex cloud migration and technology consulting projects; demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently on time and within budget
Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive accountability across cross-functional teams without relying on positional authority
Excellent executive level and client-facing communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, manage expectations, and influence stakeholders at all levels including senior executives
Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand client needs and align solutions to achieve their strategic objectives
Demonstrated experience in business development, including identifying opportunities, crafting proposals, and driving revenue growth
Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in professional services
Proficiency in project management software and tools, including Jira and FinancialForce

Responsibilities

Champion Effectual's Delivery Framework through Scrum or hybrid practices and coordinate with project resources, partner teams, and customer stakeholders to monitor progress and drive accountability
Coordinate staffing of customer workstreams and manage risk escalations
Prepare and deliver weekly status reports and conduct weekly checkpoint meetings to review progress and outcomes
Establish and maintain governance plans, LOE estimates, and budget tracking for engagement delivery
Mentor and coach less experienced Effectual PMs to strengthen delivery, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities
Notify Account Executives of opportunities and involve them in key meetings
Maintain relationships with third-party vendors and partners to ensure seamless engagement delivery
Monitor time entry and project financials to identify risks to timeline, budget, or scope
