Job summary

The role coordinates multidisciplinary interfaces, manages scope, schedule, risk, and change, and ensures safe, compliant delivery of high-value installations within a regulated manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related technical discipline; equivalent education/experience accepted.
• Typically 10+ years in capital project engineering, leading multidisciplinary design, construction, commissioning, and turnover on complex projects.
• Documented experience on projects with total installed cost > $30 million in regulated pharma/biotech/medical device or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of the project execution plan, defining scope, governance, cost, schedule, safety, quality, risk, change.
• Define scope boundaries, interfaces, and responsibility matrices across owner, designer, contractor, and vendors.
• Coordinate interfaces across architectural, process, mechanical, electrical, automation, life-safety, and utility systems.
• Plan and facilitate design reviews at maturity gates, ensuring completeness, operability, and installation readiness.
• Drive closure of design comments, issues, gaps, and late decisions; manage risk and change.
• Establish equipment interfaces, utility loads, and installation sequencing with vendors.
• Provide technical support during construction, resolve RFIs and field conflicts, participate in walkdowns.
• Coordinate GMP turnover, validation, and operational handover planning; ensure documentation quality.
• Prepare complete project records and final closeout reports with residual items and owner action dates.
