Job summary

Planet is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Analysis Ready Data (ARD) product suite including Mosaics, ARPS, and Fusion. You will collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and customer success to plan requirements, track delivery, and launch products that meet customer needs.

Expect exposure to geospatial, defense tech, and AI-native tools in a fast-moving environment. You will contribute to the Imagery and Platform product group, shaping a ready-to-analyze suite for enterprise

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, or a closely related role.
• Comfort with software development concepts and working directly with engineering teams.
• Ability to make decisions that align with Planet’s roadmap and values.
• Interpersonal skills to align cross-functional teams through clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Document product requirements and assist with sprint planning and delivery tracking with engineering.
• Collaborate with data team to build and maintain product metric dashboards.
• Support early-access programs to validate product-market fit with customers.
• Partner with pre-sales to ensure product-customer fit for direct-to-consumer sales.
• Prototype customer-facing solutions using AI tools to show ARD value.
• Join customer meetings as product expert and evangelist for ARD offerings.
• Synthesize customer and sales input into use cases and requirements.
• Partner with internal Solution builders to transition to a solutions-oriented company.
• Contribute foundational data products for AI-native solutions.
