Job summary

Thomson Reuters, McLean, VA, seeks a Sr. Project Manager to lead AI-enabled workflows and marketing-technology initiatives within a 750-person marketing org. You will map current work, design future processes, and own delivery through adoption alongside MarTech, MarComm, and Product teams in a fast-paced environment.

This role demands hands-on process thinking, solution design, and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders to drive measurable outcomes across the organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in project or program management, marketing operations, or a related role.
• Track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
• Ability to influence and lead without authority in a matrixed environment.
• Experience working directly with senior stakeholders and leadership.
• Hands-on experience applying Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methods, including process mapping and root cause analysis. Formal certification is not required.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to track progress and identify improvement opportunities.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication, including executive-ready status reporting and presentations.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• Customer-service mindset with experience supporting internal clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams through planning and execution of large-scale marketing projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources across concurrent projects, owning deliverables and dependencies.
• Establish goals and KPIs, monitor progress against them, and proactively address risks, issues, and barriers to execution.
• Facilitate process mapping and cross-functional working sessions to identify bottlenecks and rework, brainstorm and recommend solutions, and translate them into implementation plans with clear owners, timelines, and success measures.
• Develop and maintain scalable, repeatable project management processes and standards.
• Partner with internal customers and teams across MarTech, MarComm, Product, and other business units to understand needs, manage expectations, and keep stakeholders aligned.
• Prepare and present status, performance, key risks, and recommended actions to leadership on a regular cadence, raising decisions and escalations early.
• Drive adoption and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, so delivered work is used and lessons learned are applied.
