Job summary

Roblox is recruiting a Senior Product Manager for AI Compute Infrastructure in San Mateo, CA. You will shape strategy and roadmaps for the Compute Platform, covering on‑prem, edge and cloud deployments, and lead GPU/accelerator infrastructure to support AI training and inference.

You will partner with engineers, researchers and product teams to deliver reliable, scalable compute solutions while balancing cost and performance. A deep background in Kubernetes, GPUs and AI is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience focused on compute infrastructure or distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals and control plane components; experience productizing CRDs.
• Familiarity with GPU/accelerator architecture and scheduling challenges.
• Experience with cloud-native service networking including CNIs and service mesh.
• Built production-grade compute platforms prioritizing reliability and developer experience.
• Ability to balance utilization, latency, cost and time-to-ship across diverse users.
• Experience on AWS, GCP, Azure or other cloud providers.
• Background in AI model development, training and inference.
• Kernel-level experience or familiarity with custom kernel drivers.
• Experience building agentic systems for compute.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy and roadmap for Compute Platform spanning Kubernetes service, Managed Compute Services and fleet APIs.
• Advance the compute infrastructure to support AI, storage, and data analytics workloads.
• Build and scale GPU infrastructure for training and inference at scale.
• Ensure Compute Platform reliability, reducing MTTD and ML model degradation risks.
• Collaborate with platform teams to empower users with robust primitives.
• Lead cross-functional efforts among engineers, data scientists, product, finance and leadership.
