StrongBuilt Plumbing & Air in Tucson, AZ seeks a Plumbing Service Technician. You will diagnose and repair plumbing issues, install fixtures, and perform preventive maintenance while working independently to meet customer needs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of plumbing service experience, a journeyman license or state certification, and strong customer communication. Travel up to 25% with a field-based schedule and mentorship responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, plumbing trade school preferred.
• 3+ years of plumbing service experience is preferred.
• Journeyman license or state certification strongly preferred (location varies).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, fixture replacements, pipe repairs, and water heater installations.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance, testing water pressure, drainage, and system performance.
• Document work performed, materials used, and recommendations, ensuring compliance with codes and company standards.
• Provide clear, professional communication to customers about diagnoses, repairs, and options, educating on preventive maintenance and upgrades.
• Collect payments and maintain truck inventory.
• Collaborate with dispatch, service managers, and team members, mentoring apprentices and technicians.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in safe, clean condition.
