Job summary

WDF Inc. in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Plumbing Project Manager to lead commercial plumbing projects from start to finish, including estimates, takeoffs, material purchasing and scheduling of field crews.

Work with clients, design professionals and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Review blueprints, specs and codes to align with client needs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years' experience in construction management for commercial HVAC or Plumbing projects.
• Experience managing commercial Plumbing and HVAC projects in the $4 million to $40 million range.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents and schedules.
• Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook; good computer skills.
• Navisworks knowledge; BIM coordination with AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial Plumbing projects from start to completion.
• Prepare estimates, takeoffs, and material purchasing.
• Schedule employees and coordinate with clients, designers and subcontractors.
• Review blueprints, specs and codes to meet client needs and design intent.
• Maintain regular communication with the client's management and adjust schedules as needed.
