True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a senior plumbing and fire protection engineer to lead projects and mentor junior staff. The role involves design from concept to construction administration for labs, data centers, schools, universities, and offices near Boston.

The position is hybrid, three days a week in office. You will design domestic water, sanitary and waste, storm, and gas systems, including sprinkler and standpipe, and produce full construction documents in Revit while

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of plumbing and fire protection design experience in a consulting environment.
• Experience using Revit for design and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design your own projects from concept through construction administration.
• Produce full construction documents in Revit and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Handle code and AHJ reviews and stay involved through submittals and site visits.
• Mentor and train junior staff and work directly with clients.
