Job summary

TP Mechanical in Cincinnati, OH seeks an experienced Estimator with strong plumbing/heating estimation background. You will perform takeoffs, pricing, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure scopes and final pricing.

You will maintain estimating software, assist with database development, and help ensure smooth turnover to Project Management. Requirements include 10 years commercial plumbing/heating estimation experience, journeyman license or equivalent, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• 10 years commercial experience in plumbing or heating estimation or completion of approved apprenticeship program.
• 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman.

Responsibilities

• Job takeoffs and pricing.
• Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Stays current with estimating software and attends training.
• Work with VP of Estimating on database development and maintenance.
• Develop estimating spreadsheets with VP of Estimating.
• Ensure smooth project turnover from Estimating to Project Management.
• Work with vendors and subs to secure scopes and final pricing.
• Write scope letters clearly.
• Lead and finalize job estimates.
• All other duties as assigned.
