Key Responsibilities
- Ownership as a discipline leader on multiple projects, focusing on plumbing system selection, engineering, and design.
- Preparation of plumbing drawings, sketches, analyses, specifications, and calculations.
- Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Providing management and oversight of plumbing design support staff.
- Providing construction administration and site observations related to projects.
- Delivering exemplary service and support to team members and clients.
- Supporting overall project management for the MEP team.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of experience in MEP plumbing design/consulting.
- Team leadership/management experience.
- Project management experience in the MEP space.
- Working knowledge of IPC/UPC and IBC standards.
- Complete understanding of building codes.
- Thorough design system knowledge.
- Commuting distance to Chicago, IL (note: confirm travel/relocation expectations as applicable).
Preferred
- Professional Engineer license (or equivalent).
- CPD Certification.
- LEED Accreditation.
- Working Autodesk REVIT knowledge.
