Job summary

Interface Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Plumbing Design Engineer (MEP) in Bend, OR, offering a hybrid schedule with at least two days in the office. The role includes leading plumbing design, guiding staff, and ensuring code-compliant, high-performance systems across projects.

You will collaborate with a dynamic team, advance your technical leadership, and participate in an ESOP-driven culture with strong growth opportunities and a broad project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8+ years' experience in MEP plumbing design/consulting.
• Team leadership/management experience.
• Project management experience in the MEP space.
• Working knowledge of IPC/UPC and IBC standards.
• Complete understanding of building codes.
• Thorough design system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for plumbing system selection, engineering & design.
• Preparation of Plumbing drawings, sketches, analysis, specifications, and calculations.
• Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Providing management and oversight of plumbing design support staff.
• Providing construction administration & site observations related to your projects.
• Delivering exemplary service and support to team members and clients.
• Supporting overall project management to our MEP team leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• A Professional Engineering License or CPD Certification
• LEED Accreditation
