Interface Engineering Inc. is seeking a Plumbing Design Engineer II/III (MEP) in Bend, OR on a hybrid schedule. The role involves design, drawings, calculations, and coordination with project teams. This position offers an employee-owned culture and growth opportunities within a 100% ESOP firm.

Requirements include a BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and 2+ years in MEP plumbing design, with knowledge of IPC/UPC and IBC standards. Autodesk REVIT proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in MEP plumbing design/consulting.
• Familiarity with IPC/UPC and IBC standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and select plumbing systems for projects.
• Prepare plumbing drawings, sketches, specifications, and calculations.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Manage and oversee plumbing support staff.
• Provide construction administration and site observations.
• Deliver excellent service to clients and team.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsibility for plumbing system selection, engineering & design
• Preparation of Plumbing drawings, sketches, analysis, specifications, and calculations
• Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Providing management and oversight of plumbing support staff
• Providing construction administration & site observations related to your projects.
• Delivering exemplary service and support to team members and clients.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor of Science - Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in MEP plumbing design/consulting
• Working knowledge of IPC/UPC and IBC standards

Preferred

• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD)
• LEED® Accreditation
• Working Autodesk® REVIT knowledge
