Job summary

EXP is seeking a Senior Plumbing Engineer in Raleigh, NC to lead healthcare plumbing design efforts. The role emphasizes NFPA 99/55 knowledge, Revit proficiency, and strong leadership across multiple projects.

You will guide project teams, ensure code compliance, develop design narratives, and collaborate with clients during meetings and site surveys to deliver compliant, high-quality plumbing systems.

Qualifications

• Proficient in plumbing engineering and design.
• Healthcare facilities design experience a must.
• Familiar with NFPA 99 and NFPA 55.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor staff on plumbing design projects.
• Review code compliance (NC Plumbing Code, IPC, UPC, CPC).
• Develop design narratives and front-end plumbing plans.
• Coordinate with PMs on work plans and budgets.
• Write specification sections and reports as needed.
• Interface with clients in project meetings and site surveys.
