Job summary

Haskell is seeking a design professional to work on plumbing/MEP projects, applying BIM and AutoCAD to develop compliant designs across multiple industries. You will produce construction documents, diagrams, and equipment schedules under the guidance of Licensed Professionals.

With 5+ years in design and drafting for plumbing/MEP, you will coordinate with engineers and other disciplines, review drawings, and support project teams from SD through CD stages.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in design and drafting software for plumbing/MEP engineering purposes.

Responsibilities

• Knows BIM and AutoCAD design software and can incorporate designs into project documents/models.
• Knows how to produce riser diagrams, flow diagrams and interpret P&ID's.
• Knows how to design, layout and size, underground process and sanitary waste piping, domestic hot/cold systems and natural gas piping, compressed air piping system, storm piping and medical gas piping.
• Knows how to produce riser diagrams, flow diagrams, and interpret piping and instrumentation drawings.
• Knows how to create a complete and accurate set of constructions documents including cover sheet, floor plans, details and sections, and equipment schedules
• Subject to Licensed Professional's final approval, checks shop drawings and submittal data for conformance with contract documents.
• Adheres to established company standards and policies.
• Prepares clear well-written memos/correspondence.
• Assists the Licensed Professional with production of specifications.
• Coordinates work with other disciplines as to dimensions and interference to minimize deficiencies, errors and omissions.
