The role involves overseeing contractors, budgeting time and materials, and ensuring safety and code compliance. Qualified candidates hold a Journeyman Plumber's License; Master Plumber license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Plumber's License issued by the Board of State Examiners of Plumbing and Gas
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a state commercial setting
• Master Plumbers License preferred
• 5+ years of experience overall

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain water systems and piping
• Read blueprints and layouts for projects
• Coordinate with Facilities Dept. and outside contractors
• Inspect buildings for needed repairs and provide corrective action
• Oversee capital and operational project specifications
• Be available for overtime and emergencies as needed
